SMILE-FX® / Orthodontic Mouthguard Fit Guide
The guide, its source and orthodontic care
Publisher and responsibility
SMILE-FX® Orthodontic & Clear Aligner Studio in Miramar publishes this educational guide. Dr. Tracy Miao Liang is the clinical director.
The short explanation and supplied record are for reading and conversation. Your treating team remains responsible for individual clinical findings and directions.
The source link below identifies the factual reference. It is separate from the practice capabilities described here. This guide does not establish a SMILE-FX® mouthguard supply or fitting service.
Orthodontic care with the responsible doctor
These confirmed capabilities describe orthodontic care. The team confirms the individual arrangement in the written proposal and clinical directions.
Continuing doctor responsibility
Board-certified orthodontists see every patient, including follow-ups, with Dr. Tracy Miao Liang as clinical director.
Digital care with an aligner focus
Full-service digitally driven orthodontics includes a clear-aligner focus. Care is individually explained and prescribed.
Planning and discussion
AI-assisted planning and illustrative previews support discussion of intentions. A preview is separate from an achieved result.
Imaging for an individual purpose
Low-dose 3D CBCT is available when clinically indicated. Records and imaging are confirmed individually, rather than assumed routine or included.
Progress information between visits
Smartphone/iPhone monitoring is standard with braces and aligner plans. It supports communication and continuing clinical progress review.
Clinical review of issue flags
Remote information can flag a broken bracket or nontracking aligner. The clinical team evaluates what needs attention; a flag is not a diagnosis.
Provider-support contact access
24/7 provider-support contact access gives questions a route to the team. Access does not promise an immediate reply or replace individual emergency arrangements.
Local aligner and retainer fabrication
In-house 3D-printed aligners and same-day aligner/retainer options are available through individual arrangements. These options do not apply automatically to every person or appliance.
Doctor-led course correction
Prescribed home course-correction shipments and doctor-led Rescue aligner care after previous treatment are individually arranged.
A separate bracket-production route
Custom 3D-printed brackets are manufactured off-site, separately from local aligner and retainer fabrication.
A prescribed system and wear plan
Invisalign®, OrthoFX®, AirFlex™ and nighttime options are available within individually prescribed care. The orthodontist chooses the system and wear plan; availability is not personal eligibility.
Retainers and whitening in the proposal
Included fixed/removable retainers plus whitening belong in the written orthodontic proposal, which confirms scope and prescribed individual arrangements.
A separate colour goal
At-home and in-office whitening are available for a colour goal. Suitability and arrangements are individual; availability does not mean both methods are supplied to everyone.
